Spring Healing Points Your calendar might still say Winter, but according to the
traditional Asian calendar, we are already at the beginning of
Spring. And, in the deep wisdom of Asian Medicine, our habits should
change with the changing of the season. Energetically, spring is the time of the Wood element, which is
represented by the entire plant kingdom, especially those herbs and
vegetables that begin their growth cycle in spring. In traditional
Asian medicine, the Wood element is associated with the paired
organs of the liver and gall bladder, which can either be at their
peak or at their most vulnerable during this season. Spring is a time of lightening up. From the Spring Equinox to the
Summer Solstice, each day has more minutes of light than darkness.
So, to remain in harmony with the season, we too need to “lighten
			up.”
			Many
more Spring Healing Points Here. Spring is also the very best time of the year to give yourself
the gift of a liver and systemic detoxification.  If you would
like an appointment so that you can do this in the most effective
manner, give me a call at (310)293-9475 and we'll set up an
appointment. I have been invited again this summer
to both speak on sound healing and perform a soundJourney at the
Conference on Indigenous Medicine in Iquitos, Peru. I will be staying in Peru for several
weeks afterwards for further study. Because of the interest people
have expressed to me in my time in Peru, I have decided to open up
the possibility of having others join me in the jungle during this
			time.   This is truly
going to be an incredible and very profound experience. It will also
be an amazing adventure! The level of healing that will occur
happens at a depth that is literally life-transforming. Because of
the deep nature of this journey, and because I will be working
closely with every person who joins me, I am limiting this trip to
			8-10
committed people.  So if you are interested in joining me on
			this adventure into healing,
and I'll keep you updated as to the details and requirements for
			attending.

			| Phoenix:
 A mythical bird that burned
 itself to ashes,
 and rose from the ashes
 to live again.
 |
			 | The first Phoenix Rising concert at the Skirball Cultural Center was a
great success that deeply touched all present with the healing, beauty
and Love that was the deepest purpose of the concert. On March 19, 2006, Richard will be
	again performing with the extraordinary
Chinese/Tibetan vocalist, Yuan Miao.  While quite different from
Richard's soundJourney, these performances are well worth attending.
