One of the things I hear often goes something like this: "Why
would I need healing, there is nothing wrong with me." Or
perhaps something like: "I may have a few problems, but my doctor is
taking care of them." Or even: "I have (fill in the disease of
choice), but I don't think that what you do will help."
I've heard phrases like these often. It's led me to realize
that there is a fundamental need for expanding the concept of
what healing and health are.
Of course we've all heard doctors and healers say that health is
more than the absence of disease. I've communicated that
concept a lot in the past.
But there is much more to it than that.
Health could be called a state of harmony in body, mind and
spirit. Not only not having symptoms of illness, but having a
quality of joy about life and living. It's significant to note
that this level of health can even exist for someone with a serious
illness!
But there is more to it than that.
It starts with forgiveness. Not in a mental/emotional sense
that we are so familiar with, but a forgiveness that is a total
release into Light and Love of any vestige of that which has caused
pain. A total letting go of resentments, angers, fears, and
even the slightest of mental attachments to any part of the past.
The past not only of our individual lives, but the past of our
nation, cultures, tribes, religions, and families. A letting
go even of that. And even of that (and
that too . . . ).
And there is more.
See, it is an infinite path. A path that began far in
the past and will continue forever into the infinite future.
More importantly, it is the path of the present moment. A
decision and a choice that occurs with each and every breath we
take; with every moment that we are alive. It has nothing to do with
fear and pain. It has everything to do with Trust. Trusting
Trust. Trusting the unfolding process of Life. And there is no limit
to how deeply trust can be felt, and no limit to the Joy that can
occur.
There truly is never a time when it's as good as it gets. For it is
an infinite Journey, starting right now and happening right now.

The Journey to the Amazon is happening
soon.
The dates have been changed to August 8th to the 18th. I have a full
webpage now that describes in much greater detail what will be
offered to those fortunate enough to attend.
This is truly
going to be an incredible and very profound experience. It will also
be an amazing adventure! The level of healing that will occur
happens at a depth that is literally life-transforming. Because of
the deep nature of this journey, and because I will be working
closely with every person who joins me, I am limiting this trip to
10-15

Upcoming Events:
Journey to the Heart is sponsoring an informative
evening with Dr. Richard Grossman, L.Ac., O.M.D., Ph.D, to
share about his mystical experiences in Ecuador
and Peru from last year. Richard was able to
experience healing ceremonies several
times over the course of his stay with both
an Ecuadorian Shaman from the Napo Runa tribe and with
a Shipibo shaman in
Peru. Richard will share with his audience
more about this experience. There also will be an
opportunity to find out whether a journey like this is for
you and then to express interest in joining Richard in his
upcoming trip to Peru this summer. There you will both work
directly with the Peruvian shaman as well as receive healing
sessions with Richard and the shaman's healing guidance and
care over a period of ten days.

This will be the last soundJourney held in Los Angeles until I
return from the Amazon.
On Friday, May 26, 2006, a soundJourney event will be held
at The Regenesis Center in
Santa Monica. The event starts at 8:00, and due to the focused
inner nature of the soundJourney experience, there will be no
admittance after 8:20.
"soundJourney is transformation via sound. Using indigenous
instruments combined with modern technology, Richard Grossman
weaves a spell of shamanic sound, vibration, healing, and Love."
Tickets are $25.00 if paid in advance, $30.00 at the door.
