soundJourney at The Regenesis Center

On  Friday August 12, 2005  a soundJourney will be held at The Regenesis Center, at 1645 16th Street.,  in Santa Monica. You can find directions on MapQuest.

The Gathering 2005:
An Alliance Of Elders, Healers And Wisdomkeepers

Journey to the Heart, announces their sixth annual THE GATHERING: AN ALLIANCE OF ELDERS, HEALERS AND WISDOMKEEPERS SEPTEMBER 8-11, 2005. THE GATHERING will be held for the fourth year at Alpine Meadows Camps in Big Bear, California. www.alpinecamps.com. Often referred to as a "mini united nations but from a spiritual standpoint", THE GATHERING is based on the ancient tradition of council where all voices are equal.

It has long been prophesized by nearly every indigenous community that as the Bushmen say the "little people" will gather and dance around the fires, that rather than continuing to look at our differences, we will start to see that we have more in common that we thought. THE GATHERING provides neutral ground for all to come together for the highest common good, to hear and respect all points of view and to provide a space for peace to exist across borders, color lines and spiritual traditions.

Invited speakers from Zimbabwe, Thailand, England, Ecuador, New Zealand, Sweden, India, China, Kenya, Botswana, South Africa, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru, Australia, the Congo, Liberia, Cameroon, Southeast Asia, and several Native American and Canadian tribes will come together to share ceremony, healing traditions and to create a sacred place in which a true cross-cultural exchange can begin.

 Dr. Grossman will be giving a seminar and presentation on the use of sound and music as an entry into the Shamanic experience, followed by a soundJourney experience.
